    After sight seeing at a couple of other beautiful, quaint little towns along the New England coast, we ended up in Gloucester. This gem of a restaurant stood out to us because there was a line out the door!

    We parked, walked in, gave our names and waited for a table and were taken to a table within 20 minutes.

    Our waitress, Jackie, was very kind and attentive.
    The food was delicious!
    The wine was perfect.

    All I can say is wow ..

    What a great little place .. I mean it's big but tons of help so it feels like a small restaurant..

    Went and had the special of the day $1 oysters on the half shell ...great deal and super fresh ..

    Lunch I had there famous lobster roll.. it was amazing not to much mayo and not all the extra fillers a lot of places put in .. just light mayo and TONS of meat ... price was not cheap but well worth it for what I got ..

    Guest had a bacon cheeseburger he loved it very big bun and big patty ..

    Service was great like I said waitress took the order and the food runners had it all out super fast ..

    I will go back anytime I'm in the area

    They are getting a 3 star review because of the staff ... they were wonderful. Otherwise, they would be getting a 2 star rating.

    Called ahead .. for 6.  Waited 1hr and 15 min. Then they couldn't find us a table for 6.  We were accommodated about 2 hrs + waiting time.

    The food was mediocre at best.  Not sure why this place is so popular.  

    Lobster roll-  meh.  No flavor. Not even natural lobster sweetness good .. somehow it tasted sad.

    Seafood trio - was dry. Basically seafood with crumbs.

    Even the bread was meh!  Will probably never go there again.

    I honestly can't say enough great things  about this place   Driving home and still raving   Firecracker Shrimp is the best !!  Drinks are great. Tried their Autumn Sandra that was perfect for a chilly fall day !!!  I was a little reluctant about ordering steak at a seafood restaurant but was blown away at how great they were and cooked perfect !!!   Worth the drive. Great atmosphere and bartenders are the best.  If you haven't gone. You must !!!

    Came up to Gloucester for the day. This was the best reviewed place on yelp that we found. Arrived for lunch around 3. Place was packed but friendly and got us sat fast at a communal table, if you want a private table you will have to wait longer. Neat decor and full bar. Clam chowder 7/10 and the lobster roll 8/10. I would come back if I was in the area again.
